Washington Street Motors was founded in 1975 by Richard M. DickRyan in a small real estate office at 646 Washington Street in Weymouth Massachusetts. His son Rick Ryan later joined him in 1976. Together they worked very hard in searching out the best-used cars at affordable prices, making sure that each car had a thorough inspection and complete service before its delivery. As years past they grew bigger and better. In 1991 they purchased the property next to them, later turning it into a state of the art automotive service center with certified technicians complete with a Massachusetts Inspection Station. They also have the Massachusetts Registry services available on site to make purchasing a vehicle effortless for their customers. In 1996 Rick's son Rick Ryan Jr. joined the staff and that introduced the 3rd generation of the Ryan family into the business. Rick Jr. graduated from Weymouth H.S. in 1995 before joining the staff. In 2003 Rick's other son Justin Ryan joined the staff. Justin graduated from Weymouth H.S in 1998, and then graduated from Nichols College as a Bachelor of Science In Business Administration.
