About Ithaca Foreign Car Service Ithaca Foreign Car Service was started in 1974 by Dave Allen, Dave Brumsted, and Dan Ryan. Dave Allen retired in 1992, after many, many years of working on cars, to devote more time to being a gentleman farmer. Due to the large amount of business at the shop, Dave Allen was pressed back into action in 1995 and can still be found at the shop a few times a week. In January 2007 the service department moved across the parking lot to a new timber frame building to provide you a better service experience.
