Rick was born 10 miles southwest of the Browns lane factory, and lived and attended school 5 miles from the gates. So when the time came to choose a profession, automotive mechanics and Jaguar were a perfect fit. For the last 25 years, Rick has built a successful career working on Jaguar and other British and Italian classics. Rick's passion for Jaguars has taken him through every conceivable area of Jaguar maintenance, repair and restoration. Rick served his apprenticeship under the direction of the great Ron Beaty at Forward Engineering in England. He was Jaguar and Land Rover factory trained at two of the leading Jaguar dealerships in California. Rick's years of experience with Jaguar specialists and wrenching for Jaguar racing teams has earned him an impressive array of certifications including Advanced Automotive Engineer, Member Institute of the Motor Industry ( UK ), City and Guilds of London Technician and Management Certified, and Automotive Service Excellence/Master Technician ( ASE ).
