Ideal Service Center in River Edge, NJ
In business since 1945, the family-owned and -operated Ideal Service Center has been run by third-generation owner Vincent Guerra since 1986. Guerra, who grew up in nearby New Milford, says that customers come back for decades, including some who first patronized Ideal back in 1945. The center offers a no-nonsense, no-frills three-bay garage; the unassuming exterior leads to a full-service facility that works on all makes and models. "Our customers feel like they've been treated fairly and honestly, so they are comfortable coming back," Guerra says. Ideal Service keeps current on all computer diagnostics, and also handles New Jersey state vehicle inspections and repairs.
