In the late 1800's John Fetzner owned and operated a blacksmith shop on West Ridge Road in Rochester, New York. With the arrival of the automobile in the early 1900's, John Fetzner's son Ray saw the need for a repair shop to service these automobiles. Ray Fetzner expanded the business to include a repair shop that sold and serviced Hudsons. Ray's son John worked for his father in the automobile business and began doing body work as well. In 1964, John Fetzner moved auto body portion of the shop to its present location at 2485 Dewey Ave. John Fetzner has since retired and the collision shop is now managed by Jim Fetzner. Jim, along with six brothers, a sister, his wife, and a crew of highly skilled technicians work together in providing our customers the best service possible using state-of-the-art technology.
