John and Cheryl Wall are the new owners of the Checkered Flag Express Lube and Car Wash. The Wall's just recently returned to the Marysville area. John is a 1982 graduate of MHS. He holds a B.S. in Business Administration from Ohio Dominican University. He spent the last 12 years with Ashland / Valvoline as a territory and business development manager. He spent 4 years in Tulsa covering Oklahoma, Missouri, Kansas, Arkansas, and the panhandle of Texas. Most recently he was in Orlando covering Florida from coast o coast between Orlando and Gainesville. Cheryl is from the Stouts vile area, and graduated from Amanda-Clearcreek. She holds a B.S. in Education from Ohio University. Her background includes teaching with LEADS Headstart and as an Account Manager with Frank Gates Service Company. Their son, Ryan, also attended Marysville Schools and is a certified mechanic and lube tech. The family also includes Emily (Josh) Brown of Columbus, Indiana; Adam, and Hannah. Checkered Flag provides automotive services on all types of domestic and foreign vehicles including oil changes, transmission fluid changes, radiator fluid exchanges, differential fluid changes, filters, tune-ups, brake services, and more.
